This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc., based in Mountain View, United States ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis on how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the US and stored there.
Since IP anonymization (so-called IP masking) provided by Google is activated on this website (by extension of Google Analytics to include the code "gat._anonymizeIp();"), your IP address will, however, be truncated beforehand and therefore anonymized by Google within the area of the European Union or within other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the whole IP address be transferred to a Google server in the US and truncated there.
Google will use the information collected by Google Analytics on behalf of the website’s operator to evaluate your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other website usage and Internet-related services to the website’s operator. The IP address that your browser conveys within the scope of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.
You can also opt out from being tracked by Google Analytics with effect from the future by setting a so-called "opt-out cookie", which prevents any future collection of your data when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie is set when you click on the following link:
The operator of this website also uses Google Analytics to evaluate data from AdWords and DoubleClick cookies for statistical purposes. If you do not want this, you can disable it via the ad settings manager (http://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=en).
On behalf of the operator of this website, Exactag GmbH collects and stores data on this website and its sub-sites for marketing and optimization purposes. Usage profiles can be created from this data using a pseudonym. Cookies and a technique called Fingerprint can be used in this process. Cookies are small text files that are locally stored in the buffer of the website visitor's Internet browser. Fingerprint technology (also called IP-less Key) stores environment variables from the Internet browser in a database but does not store any explicit user-related data such as an IP address (IP address on Wikipedia). Cookies and/or Fingerprint make it possible to recognize the Internet browser. Without the express permision of the user concerned, the data collected by Exactag technologies will not be used to personally identify any users of this website and will not be connected with the personal data within the anonymous profile. It is possible to refuse the collection and storage of data at any time, and such refusal will apply to all future usage.
When contacting the website Provider (for example through the contact form or by e-mail), your information will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and for handling possible follow-up enquiries.
We can keep you up to date on JAZ hotels and its offers and services through our email newsletter.
If you wish to receive the newsletter, we require from you a valid email address and information that allows us to verify that you or the owner of the specified email address have agreed to receive the newsletter. Other data is not collected. This data is used solely for sending out the newsletter and will not be shared with third parties.
Subscribers to the e-mail newsletter can revoke at any time their consent to the above data being stored and their consent to it being used for the mailing out of the newsletter. The revocation can be submitted via a link in the newsletter itself or via an e-mail that contains in the subject line "Unsubscribe" to email@example.com.
The website uses social plugins (hereinafter referred to as "plugins") of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., headquartered in Palo Alto, United States (hereinafter "Facebook"). The plugins are visible on one of the Facebook logos (a white "f" on a blue background or a "thumbs up" sign) or are marked with the phrase "Facebook Social Plugin". The register and the visual appearance of the Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
If a user visits a page of this website that contains such a plugin, his or her browser creates a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is delivered by Facebook directly to the browser of the user and embedded by this browser in the website. The Provider has therefore no influence on the amount of data that Facebook collects using this plugin. According to the current state of knowledge of the Provider, Facebook proceeds as follows:
By integrating the plugin, Facebook obtains the information that a user has called up the corresponding page of the Provider’s website. If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to his or her Facebook account. If users interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the ‘like’ button or submitting a comment, the corresponding information is sent from the user’s browser directly to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, Facebook may find out his or her IP address and store it anyway. According to Facebook, in Germany only an anonymized IP address is stored.
The purpose and scope of data collection and further processing and use of data by Facebook and the associated rights and options for protecting the privacy of the user is explained in the Data Protection Notice posted at the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
If a user is a member of Facebook and does not want data on him or her to be collected by Facebook via the website of the Provider and linked to his or her member data stored on Facebook, he or she must log out of Facebook before visiting the website.
It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins with add-ons for the user’s browser by deploying, for example, the "Facebook Blocker".
The website uses the Twitter buttons. These buttons are offered by Twitter, Inc., headquartered in San Francisco, United States (hereinafter "Twitter"). They are recognizable as terms such as "Twitter" or "Follow", combined with a stylized blue bird. With the help of the Twitter buttons it is possible to share a post or page of this website on Twitter or to follow the Provider on Twitter.
If a user visits a page of this website that contains such a Twitter button, his or her browser creates a direct connection with the Twitter servers. The content of the Twitter button is delivered by Twitter directly to the user’s browser. The Provider has no influence therefore on the amount of data that Twitter collects using this plugin. According to Twitter, only the IP address of the user and the URL of the website where the Twitter button has been clicked are transmitted; these data are used only to display the Twitter button.
More information on the Twitter service and the Twitter buttons can be found in the data protection declaration of Twitter at http://twitter.com/privacy.
Minors may not transmit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or guardians. As part of our ongoing Internet presence we shall not knowingly collect, process, or use personal data obtained from minors.
On written request the Provider shall inform you whether and what personal data on you are stored by the Provider. In the event of inaccuracies, you have a right of rectification of personal data stored about you.
Please direct any complaints, questions or requests for information regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data to our data protection officer Ms. Milena Vassilev, Steigenberger Hotels AG, Lyoner Straße 25, 60528 Frankfurt am Main, or by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
