5 reasons to spend the summer in Stuttgart - definitely one of the best (and social distance friendly) destinations in the region!
Grab an e-bike at the reception at Jaz in the City and roll into the city park - even if we look like an urban hotel in the middle of the city, we are actually less than five minutes away from the park! (mind = blown)
You simply follow the street along the tunnel and are already in the back of the “Schlossgarten” of Stuttgart.
A beer garden, cafés, a playground and much more awaits you there! You now have the choice to turn left to do a bigger Tour de Stuttgart and continue to explore the park to Wilhelma zoo or to cycle to the right towards Schlossplatz in the city - or just stay there and chill in the grass.
Culture in the city
All open air events and concerts are canceled for 2020? Not quite, bright minds have come up with a great concept and you can still watch the open air cinema, your favorite bands and comedians. Where you usually raise the beer mug and dance on a beer bench from end of September onwards, this year the “Kulturwasen” takes place instead of the Cannstatter Volksfest. Whether in your own car or in a private lounge: Here you can enjoy a mild summer evening with entertainment!
Stuttgart at the ocean
Stuttgart isn’t close to the sea? During summer it actually is at the sea for a short time every year! Stadtpalais Stuttgart made a special dune installation, which you should reserve in advance. A separate group of up to 7 people have their own “dune” with their own sand pit, grill and small pool for their feet, as desired.
In addition, exhibitions can also be viewed in the city palace, for example about graffiti in the cauldron or the history of the city of Stuttgart.
Stuttgarts walk-in Besen
Only Swabians will understand: You can walk in a “broom” here! This is not just a tool to clean the floor here but also a kind of seasonal wine bar. Traditionally it is in the vineyards in e.g. Uhlbach, Bad Cannstatt or Fellbach, but now there is also a “Stadtbesen” in the city center, a “Neckarbesen” on a ship and so on ... You can see when which “Besen” is open on various websites or even specially designed apps for these bars. The first vineyard is not far: You can see the Mönchhalde from the hotel!
Rooftop Sessions in the Wolfram Bar & Terrace
You can also enjoy a Stuttgart wine or another cool drink without leaving the hotel: Our rooftop bar Wolfram Bar & Terrace is open again and offers not only our signature cocktails, but also summer salads, pastas and sandwiches.
It’s raining or it is not rooftop weather? Easy, we have our cozy restaurant Rhythms Bar & Kitchen on the ground floor, which is not only stylish but very cozy.
Of course, everything under high hygiene requirements, safe & clean and with a social distance, so we recommend that you reserve in advance with ease via OpenTable.
