Stuttgart has something a lot of other metropolises can only dream of:
It's surrounded by (wine)hills with a great view of the city! Actually, there are that many viewing points that they even have their own hashtag: #stuttgartviews. We'll tell you where you have THE best and most instagrammable views.
First of all, there's a Chinese garden really close to the hotel. Yes, you read correctly, just a bit up the hill to the panoramic path there's a little dreamy garden with a Chinese pavilion, a pond and a terrace with one of the best views of the city. It's really chill there, maybe a good place to find your inner yin & yang?
Vineyards with a view are all around Stuttgart: Just a short walk away (or a few bus stops if you're feeling lazy) you'll find the Mönchhalde with a view of Jaz in the City Stuttgart and the city center. In the Summer there are Wine meets Music-festivals by the Stuttgart winery, otherwise it's a nice viewing platform.
In the south, there's vineyards at Alte Weinsteige you can discover with a rack railway that climbs up the mountain and randomly at stop Haigst there's the Santiago de Chile square with a cute park for the perfect sunset view.
Experts go a little outside to Untertürkheim to the grave chapel "Grabkapelle" in the vineyards and real wine pros combine it with a wine hike or visit to a “Besen” pop-up wine bar at harvest time. If you see alpacas there, don't get confused: There's an alpaca farm right around the corner.
More of a beer (garden) fan? Then we have two hot tips! First on the Karlshöhe hill between Marienplatz and Feuersee, which has a beautiful forest and - the icing on the cake - the Tschechen & Söhne beer garden.
On the other side of the Killesberg park there is the Höhenpark beer garden to relax after a short hike with a little steam train, a slightly swaying lookout tower and a petting zoo with - well, among other things, alpacas!
We don't want to show off, but there is also a great Stuttgart view right at the hotel: From the rooftop of our Wolfram Bar & Terrace you have a great view of the TV tower, city library and Stuggi city centre. As soon as spring arrives, you can take a seat on the Balinese day beds with a delicious cocktail and enjoy the view. You can of course already check out the views and the terrace from 6.00 pm onwards and admire the skyline of Benztown!
