Changes to services and protective measures

We missed you! And are very pleased to tell you that in person and on site any time soon. As, depending on the respective location and legislation, our colleagues of Deutsche Hospitality and we are gradually available again for travel.  

But what does this mean? In the past few weeks, we had a close eye on the current developments and every (washed) hand on deck to create comprehensive safety measures for you and our staff. The result being a healthy stay in one of the group’s hotels with the highest possible level of safety and comfort. Holistic protection plans for our hotels and restaurants have been submitted to the German Government, and all of these have been approved.

We are constantly working on optimizing this safety concept and adapting it to the prevailing circumstances. As a result, two rapid tests are available for our employees every week and our guests are given the opportunity to purchase self-tests at our hotels. Please note that due to local regulations, these self-tests are not accepted as an official certificate in some destinations. Additionally, we are implementing the Luca app in numerous hotels and restaurants in Germany to enable digital contact tracing in collaboration with health authorities. Other projects to enhance our hygiene standards include an antimicrobial nano-coating for frequently used "touch points" to eliminate viruses and bacteria, and a vaccination offer for our employees as soon as company doctors can be involved in the vaccination process.

Focusing on everyone being safe, it is inevitable to make some restrictions to the services we offer. But, be assured that there is no limit to our passion for details or love for our guest community.

Before you set out on your trip, we strongly recommend finding out about current entry regulations and about any regional restrictions which may apply at your destination. Please also make sure in particular that you are fully informed regarding the need to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations and tests. Thank you.

As part of Deutsche Hospitality we are now more than ever reflecting on our family ties, and unconditionally supporting the guidelines of our house of brands. These include the revision and adaption of all hygiene and disinfection procedures, specific training for every member of staff and regular checks and monitoring of the measures put in place. The key points are: more frequent cleaning & disinfection as well as social distancing rules in public areas. Our hotels are also in permanent contact with industry experts and local government authorities. The measures currently being implemented are as follows.

Public areas

  • The obligation to wear mouth and nose masks applies to all employees according to the regulations in the respective (federal) state
  • The obligation to wear mouth and nose masks for guests applies according to the regulations in the respective (federal) state: mouth and nose masks are distributed for our guests as required
  • Hand sanitiser dispensers in all public areas (lobby, restaurant, bar, lifts)
  • Sanitiser dispensers at reception and in the toilets
  • Distance markings (minimum of 1.5 metres)
  • Regular disinfection of contact surfaces (door handles, lift call buttons, counters at reception and in the bar etc.)
  • Regular airing of public areas
  • Lift capacity limited to two persons at any one time (except for families)
  • Notices displayed in central areas to draw attention to hygiene rules
  • Limited offer in our Wellbeing Areas. More Information per location further in the Text.
  • Offering rapid tests for employees and guests

Reception, check-in and check-out

  • Check-in and Check-out with the app: no more waiting time and no more keycard. The Jaz App makes it possible and opens doors (per Bluetooth) and supports cashless payments. 
  • Of course, we are still available (with social distance) at the reception. Everyone will welcome you with a smile well hidden behind a face mask for your safety. 
  • We recommend cashless payment wherever possible 
  • Disinfection of keycards 

 

Room cleaning

  • Increased cleaning including disinfection of surfaces when changing rooms
  • Cleaning during the stay in consultation with the guest
  • Regular and highly frequent disinfection of door handles, light switches, staircase handrails etc.
  • Facilities such as magazines, writing utensils, decorative cushions and blankets will need to be removed from rooms until further notice.

Restaurant and bar area

  • You can find our gastronomic offer per location further in the Text
  • Minimum distance of 1.5 meters 
  • Only members of one's own household and members of one other household may sit together at a table, or the restrictions of the respective (federal) state apply
  • Further down in the Text you can find our opening times for all our locations
  • This may mean that guests have will need to be admitted to the restaurant at longer intervals. 
  • Disinfection of tables, counters, bill holders, cruets etc. after each use  
  • Possibility of contact tracing via the Luca app

Meetings, Events and Music

  • Event bookings are planned in detail in advance and are carried out exclusively in compliance with the official regulations of the respective state government
  • Minimum distance of 1.5 meters between tables or according the regulations of the respective (federal) state
  • Hybrid conference concepts and video conferences using appropriate equipment will be offered. 
  • Lunch and coffee break packages will be served à la carte or, for example, in the form of lunch boxes. 
  • Regular disinfection of all surfaces by staff and regular airing of the event rooms.

Since the 27th of May we are able to accommodate our guests again, that are making use of our accommodation offer as tourist visitors.

Entry and quarantine regulations must be observed upon arrival from foreign countries.

  • Breakfast from Mon-Fri from 6:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. & Sat-Sun from 7:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

  • Lunch, Snacks, Dinner & vibrant Drinks at Rhythms Bar & Kitchen with a bigger, better & stronger terrace .Mon -Sa from 11:30 a.m. to 22:00 p.m.. In compliance with the current local legislation we are not allowed to  serve alcohol between 20:00 p.m. to 07:00 a.m..

Sport & Spa

Our “relaxercise” area is currently limited to exercise only. The wellness area remains closed for the time being and the fitness area is open on reservation so let our reception know when you’re in the mood to bust a move and make some sweat!
